Back to space for living: urban

99 The Promenade, Cheltenham

The Brief: the client had owned the Grade II listed property for a number of years but the changing market place has led to the oversupply of town centre office space meaning it had sat vacant for some time.  We discussed the conversion of the upper floors, the ground floor has a vibrant restaurant use, to provide 5 new apartments.

The Solution: The property is grade II listed and as such it was important that the proposal respected the historic fabric of the building. This provides opportunities to install contemporary interiors into the refurbished historic envelope providing high quality accommodation in a sustainable town centre location.
