Our approach towards sustainable design is one of complete integration. We firmly believe that by designing highly insulated, air tight and energy efficient buildings using responsibly sourced materials will result in better quality buildings. With an improved internal environment, lower life cycle costs and easier to use and maintain buildings without the need to involve overly complicated systems.
For the best efficiencies to be obtained from the construction methods chosen and systems selected for use on a project a site specific solution has to be developed to ensure the proposal is appropriate to the site and how the end user of the building wishes to use it. If buildings incorporate these features the addition of 'green' energy systems such as solar water heaters and photovoltaic panels become far more efficient and beneficial to clients and building owners.
We have experience of working on residential schemes up to Code Level 5 of the Code for Sustainable Homes that have encompassed new technologies such as air source heat pumps, solar panels, photovoltaic panels, rain water harvesting. Similarly we have worked on commercial projects that are assessed under the relevant BREEAM standards.
What makes us different
Because we work with a range of manufacturers and renewable energy consultants but remain independent we are ideally placed to develop a bespoke system that will provide the best solution for each client. We are also committed to looking at how the principles of sustainable design and technologies can be applied to the country's existing building stock and that means developing solutions to deal with sites and existing constructions.
