Shield House - Gloucester

We were employed by Lightmoor Construction to deliver a new Datacentre in Gloucester for a local tech company, Indectron.

The project involved refurbishing a redundant building and the creation of another large bespoke building. When combined, these buildings will provide 20,000 sq ft of datacentre space and deliver 1.5MW of power across three data halls. The building provides highly secure data storage for companies in various industries including media, education, health care and government organisations.

Shield House is be one of the most energy efficient and green data centres in the UK. To help achieve this, the building contains cutting edge cooling technology and heat management solutions alongside highly efficient power systems.
