About John

As one of the original Founders and Directors with over 25 years experience, John is passionate about bringing his expertise to a wide range of bespoke architectural projects and is a member of the Cheltenham Architects Panel, and the Gloucestershire Design Review Panel.

He believes the key to successful design is taking the time to listen and exploring client needs in the context of the opportunities and constraints offered by a site. Each project is unique and he enjoys the challenge of creatively translating these into solutions that go beyond client expectations.

John’s broad and varied portfolio has a strong focus in the residential sector, often working on projects located within the AONB and Greenbelt. Whether it is helping homeowners create their dream homes or maximising the potential of larger scale residential developments, John’s passion, knowledge and desire for creative solutions supported by sustainable design is valued by his clients.

John also has over 10 years experience in the specialist care sector including award winning accommodation facilities for National Star College and other providers as well as private homes to help those with complex needs to live independently in the community.

Away from work

John likes a challenge and his hobbies include waterskiing, paddleboarding and platform diving. He's also an avid cook, and enjoys sharing new recipes with friends and family. John likes to balance adventure with more peaceful moments and one of his greatest pleasures are walks through the Cotswold countryside accompanied by the families' two Labradors.
