Conversion and refurbishment of existing site near the station. The site had been purchased with a partially implemented consent for a food store, a commercial unit and 14 two bedroom apartments. We were commissioned to review the scheme and prepare working drawings to be delivered under a Design and Build contract. Our review identified a number of areas which required reworking to achieve the following; a greater level of building efficiency, an enhanced layout to the residential units, compliance with Building Regulations and compliance with the specific end users requirements for the retail unit.
