Harp Hill - Cheltenham

Located next to another development site the existing owner realised there were opportunities for the redevelopment of the site to maximise the value of the property.  Slightly sloping in its topography the new houses were designed as upside down houses to maximise the views across Cheltenham but also minimise views between properties.

The houses were designed as 3 individual bespoke properties but with common themes to tie the development together.  The built form provides pitched roofs with vaulted ceilings internally with full height gable glazing adding further to the drama of the long range views.  Aesthetically the materials were a simple palette of red brick and charred timber cladding.
