Planning approval secured for residential development on landmark site

The team at coombes:everitt architects have secured planning approval for a new residential development designed on behalf of Churcham Homes Ltd.

Working alongside planning consultants SF Planning, the practice was appointed to reimagine a previously approved scheme. The brief was to unlock the full potential of the historic site, Hunting Butts Farm in Cheltenham, by enhancing the functionality, architectural quality and value of all units.

Drawing inspiration from the site’s historic farmstead character, which can be seen in maps dating back to 1840, the scheme introduces a series of contemporary homes designed to sit harmoniously with existing buildings while preserving its distinct sense of place.

Visualisations of the approved plans have now been released, with more updates to follow as the development progresses.
